Our Gyrocopter experience is open to those aged 17 or above (as per the Gregorian calendar) on the day of your flight. Younger enthusiasts are welcome when they meet the age criteria.
Unfortunately, we do not provide transportation at the moment.
A Gyrocopter is most closely comparable to a helicopter, with the distinction that its engine isn’t directly connected to the rotors. Instead, the rotors freewheel, a phenomenon known as autorotation. Powered by a propeller the gyrocopter achieves forward motion, forcing air through the rotors to induce autorotation.
You should ideally be in comfortable sports, athletic wear, and shoes.
Passengers with long hair, should tie their hair during their flight.
We excusively provide the open-style Gyrocopters. To ensure passenger safety during the flight, personal belongings can be left in the lockers on-site.
Skydive Dubai reserves the right to close our Dropzones without any prior warning. Skydive Dubai is not liable for any costs (travel, stay, etc.) incurred by the individual in these instances.
The flying controls are the same as a fixed-wing plane, so flying a gyrocopter has about the same level of difficulty.
No, the gyrocopter cannot do negative-G maneuvers like a plane because it has rotors and they use gravity to keep them turning. But we know you’ll still find a gyrocopter flight super exciting!
For safety reasons, passengers are not allowed to carry phones, cameras, or selfie sticks on board the gyrocopter. An edited video and standard photos of your flight will be provided complimentary and emailed to you within 24 hours of your flight.
We accept the following payment methods
We do not accept any currency other than UAE Dirhams, American Express credit cards, or Digital or virtual currency such as cryptocurrency or bitcoin.
In case you do not meet our age and weight requirements, you will not be able to fly, even if you do have a booking.
In case you do not show up for your Gyrocopter flight and the experience has been paid for in advance, your payment will not be refunded.
You must reschedule your flight at least 24 hours prior to the date. In this case, your booking must be redeemed within six months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated on the receipt.
If your Gyrocopter booking is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions or other circumstances beyond Skydive Dubai's control, you can choose to reschedule your booking to another available date or have your payment refunded.
All payments are valid for 12 months and are non-refundable past the expiration date.
Gyrocopter gift certificates are available for our flight experience and can only be purchased online. Each voucher is valid for a period of 12 months. Click here to purchase a gift voucher.

Your booking time is your flight time. All customers are requested to arrive 30 minutes prior to their booking or flight time.
Please bring a valid passport or ID, a pair of sunglasses, and a jacket or sweater during the colder months (October to March).
Weather plays a significant role in our operations.
While we strive to provide ample notice of cancellations due to weather conditions, unforeseen circumstances may require immediate changes. In such cases, our team will contact you to reschedule your booking.
Please be aware that we cannot be held responsible for any travel or accommodation costs incurred due to weather-related cancellations. For more details, please refer to our Sales policy FAQ above.
