The ‘A’ license is the gateway that enables you to get involved in everything the sport has to offer. A USPA ‘A’ license is an internationally-recognised certification that allows the holder to jump at dropzones around the world and jump with other license holders.
Once you have a USPA ‘A’ license, you may jump without supervision, pack your own main parachute, and engage in group jumps.
To obtain a USPA ‘A’ license, you must complete a minimum of 25 skydives, successfully pass all the requirements on the ‘A’ license proficiency card, and pass the written and oral ‘A’ license exam.

You can start your 'A' license training once you complete the 'AFF' course.
If weather permits, you can expect to do an average of three jumps a day, which typically allows for obtaining your license in approximately two weeks.
Yes, both the USPA 'A' license and 'AFF' jumps are recognized worldwide by any other federation part of the FAI.

As long as you have any type of valid visa to be in the country, you will be permitted to skydive.

You can wear your own camera as long as you are a licensed skydiver with more than 200 jumps. During your AFF or any instructional jumps, only your instructor(s) will be wearing a camera to record your jump. Please keep in mind that this video is only for teaching purposes. If you're interested in an external video, we can arrange for another instructor to join you to capture the entire experience. Please note that this service is subject to availability and additional charges apply.
